Schooner on tap at Bitter Phew, Sydney. Looks like a peach smoothy, smells like a lightly fruity IPA. Good lacing. Bitter with a little zing then the finish has standard bitter finish until the coconut arrives. Noticeable but fleeting. Fun beer (wildly expensive though).

Can. Coconut Milk IPA. Very hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Light smooth palate, decent fine carbonation. Soft creamy malts. I was expecting a coconut extravaganza here, not so, clear coconut but well integrated with the malts. Also unexpected was the hop attack. Spicy spicy hops into a bit of hop burn. Lively citrus, bitterish grapefruit and orange. Light pine pervades. Spicy finish. Really not what I was expecting.

Draft. An unclear yellow beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of hops, citrus fruits, malt, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of pineapple, lemons, hops, a d straw, leading to a bitter finish.
