Half-pint, shared with Finn. A beige head over a deep black body, rich lacing. Promising, slightly roasted malty aromas, scents of fruit to it. Taste fine with moments of chocolate malts, liquorice and dark fruits. Satisfying roasted bitterness to the finish. Medium bodied. Like it. (London, 11.02.2025).

[Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading.] A glossy black pour with a ruby red glint and a ring of tan head; aroma of roasted malts and berry fruit; off-sweet malty body with some pine and citrus; then a dry finish with some chocolate and spice, and a lengthy bitterness.
