Cask @ Old Mill, Brodie
Golden yellow, clear, creamy head, good lacing
Aroma of fruity golden malts, soft sweet honey, hint of apricot
Taste of golden sweet caramel malts, honey, soft fruity malts, touch of scorched honey, background of light bitter straw hops
Palate soft carb, medium body, sticky, quite viscous. Finish of sweet pale malts, bit of burnt sugar.
Overall - Oversweet golden ale and not much going on here...is it an IPA? No.

Good nose, but not the most obvious IPA in its taste, also has a weak texture.

Cask at the Draft House. Clear gold pour, light film. Bready malt nose, light butter and grain. Lightly sweet with caramel, ripe fruits, some bread, very bland bitters. Light to medium in body with soft carbonation. Bit of faint, leafy hops to finish, more doughy malts and weak caramel. So so.

Cask-conditioned at the Edgar Wallace, London WC2, 17/02/2011. Deep gold with a slight off-white head. Sweet, caramel and berry fruit aroma with some orange. Flavour was also sweet, with a buttery Caledonian-like caramelised edge, more fruit and moderately bitter finish. It grew on me.
