Light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is airy, semi dry and has decent fine carbonation. Smooth sweetish malts. Smooth floral mid into a resinous orange, slightly ripe. Mild spice. Smooth finish. A pleasant beer but for me not recognisable as a lager.

Bottle at home in London - picked up at Clapton Craft. Pours a surprisingly deep orange-gold, with a lasting, frothy off-white head. The aroma holds grainy malts, a bit of white grape, ripening citrus fruits. Medium sweet flavour, with low bitterness, some jammy orange and tangerine, wholegrain bread. Medium bodied, lightly oily, with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with mild alcohol warmth, some lightly toasted bready sugars, more white grape and ripening citrus fruits. Enjoyable stuff, but not something I would drink a lot of.
