355ml bottle @ 9k tasting. Vertical with regular version. Pours pitch black with a small head. Aroma of roasty malts, dry earthiness and wood, hints of oak, toffee and syrup. Taste is dry, roasty and woody with some oak, vanilla, hints of bourbon and earthiness. Finish is dry, roasty and earthy with some bourbon, oak, wood and vanilla. Quite dry and sweetish, not that heavy on bourbon notes. Good, but not quite as good as the regular version.

Bottle. Black pour. Aroma of chocolate, booze, coffee, bourbon booze, licorice and malt. Taste has lots of boozy bourbon, caramel, red fruit, chocolate, sweet coffee and a long boozy finish. Oh yeah.

Draft at CBC ‘16. Black with a beige head. Aroma of bourbon, vanilla, oak barrel, dark chocolate, roast and coffee. Flavour is light heavy moderate sweet and above moderate bitter. Full bodied with a warming alcohol finish and soft carbonation.

Bottle thanks to RobertDale! Pours opaque black, small brown head, dissipates slowly, creamy with good lacing. Aroma is rich, mocha, bourbon, vanilla, molasses, leather, and a hint of cherry. Flavor is fully sweet, medium bitter, mega rich and smooth. Full body, creamy mouthfeel. Excellent.
