Hand-pulled pint in The Crown Inn, Oakengates on 17th July 2013. Good golden hue to the body with a full and lasting white head. Hop nose, floral and slightly citrus. The taste was also hop oriented but with a mini malt presence to help balance the flavours out a little. Body depth fine for the flavours. OK more than great: pleasant rather than wonderful.

Cask at York Tap. Golden yellow, good white head. Subtle floral hop notes in the aroma. Good mouthfeel with a touch of liveliness. Then it starts to go wrong, some off-notes and sulphur. The name is somewhat misleading.

Cask (gravity) @ 28th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2011, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, EnglandClear medium orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, moderate hoppy, orange - citrus, vomit notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. IMO a bit borring ! [20111206]
