Lightly hazy gold beer, small white head. Light dry palate with mild fine carbonation. Dry seltzer minerals. Tangy dried fruits. Trace of sour herb. Dry finish. Nothing wrong with this but it’s just not doing it for me.

Bottle at Duke’s. It pours hazy golden amber with a small white head. The nose is hay, pithy citrus, sweet stone fruit and bread. The taste is earth, pithy citrus (particularly orange), bread, pleasant bitterness, underlying sweetness and a touch of alcohol with a dry finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation and slightly sticky mouth-feel. Perhaps a touch too sweet even, but flavoursome and quaffable nonetheless.

Keg at the Cock Tavern, London during the Spring Saison Session. Pours hazy gold with a receding, creamy head. Lots of sweet-smelling, bready malts in the nose, yeast. Medium sweet flavor, lots of bready, lightly sugary malts, subtle alcohol, yeast, hints of orange and banana. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightky sticky to finish, pretty sweet, tons more doughy malts, hinta of hay. A rather ballsy saison but pretty solid overall.
