Cask at the Clapton Hart - London. Pours mostly. Lear gold with a fine, white cream head. Tangy lemon in the nose, some citrus rind. Light sweet flavor, some dry pale malts, bitter hay, lemon rind. Light bodied with fine carbonation, and with a dry minerally quality. Dry finish, lightly sweet, baked straw bitterness, rindy citrus. So so. (3.3)
Cask at the Old Fountain with Kenny on our big day out. Pours clear, pale yellow with a light, white foam head. Biscuity pale malt nose, some straw, lemony citrus. Light sweet flavor with dry hay, lemon rind. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Very dry to finish with light grassy bitters, hay, basic pale malts. Decent stuff. (3.4)

Old Fountain. Clear pale gold beer, little white head. Light semi dry palate. Mildly crisp. Light skunky hops with juicy citrus and pith. Medium bitterness. Grapefruit, lemon and a little orange. Smooth dry finish. All right.
