Cask at CPK, London. Pours clear gold with a fine, foamy white head. Sweet and ripe citrus in the nose. Medium sweet flavor, dry straw, some minerals, sugary lemon merengue. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly sticky sweet finish, ripe orange, some doughy malts. Hints of minerals. Decent overall.

Craft Clerkenwell. Clear gold beer, little white head. Light palate, slightly soft with very mild carbonation. Nice hops - mild but resinous citrus orange and grapefruit. A touch of lemon. Again (with Kirkstall) a mild floral note, this isnโt a bad thing at all but seems to be on most of their beers. Perhaps the yeast? Finishes smooth with pleasant tangy fruit hops. Nice beer but this one was on cask and might have been better suited to keg! Must run now .....
