Cask (gravity) @ The 18th Reading Beer and Cider Festival 2011, Reading, Berkshire England.Clear dark red brown colour with a average, frothy - fizzy and open, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, chocolate - caramel. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, chocolate, roasted, thin. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120502]

Cask, handpump at The Hop Pole, Aylesbury 24.05.12 Dark brown with a tan head. Some nice smooth chocolate initially, quite smooth with light roasted notes and a dab of nuttiness, slight lingering sweetness, pretty good. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Gravity cask at the Bree Louise, London. Pours clear brown with a small, foamy head. Nice chocolate nose with a bit of dirt. Light sweet flavor with mostly dusty cocoa, some dirt and mild coffee, along with faint leafy bitters. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Basic finish, lightly sweet, lightly dry with some baking cocoa and mild dirt. Fine mild. (3.3)

Cask at the Reading Beer Festival 2012. Pours clear brown with a foamy white head. Lovely toast and chocolate in the nose, some dark bread. Nice flavor, lightly sweet with some dark sugars, faint chocolate, mild berries. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Good condition. Moderately sweet finish with dark bread, toasty sugar, light cocoa and faint toasted leaves. Pretty classic mild. (3.7)

Cask@Reading Beer Festival. Rubyish amber colour with a small head. Aroma is caramel, fruits, some slight spicy notes along with ripe fruits. Flavour is raisins, fruits, some mild earth and liquorice as well.
