Bottle from Drink?, Hebden Bridge. Golden-amber in colour with a bubbly head. Has a soapy-stewed fruit aroma and taste with a light bitterness attached. Quite strong but not overbearing.

Hazy gold beer, tiny white head. Palate is light and dry and a little crisp. Light dry malt, whisper of smoke. Strong orange peel and marmalade. Sharp lemon kick. Little hop spice. Light finish. Stong hop fruits again from North Riding but I wanted a little more complexity in this one.

Bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield. Hazy, light amber colour. Thin, tight, sticky, off white head. Big, tropical fruit juiciness. A little ripe banana. Light herbiness. Taste is sweet toffee. Surprisingly light bitterness. Creamy, smooth, light dry palate. Finish is long, pithy bitterness. I’m a fan of this brewer, so I maybe expected more than I got with this one. Still pretty good, mind you.
