Mother Kelly’s Sour Fest. Hazy gold beer, residual white head. Palate is dry and crisp. This really is pretty much the same as the base beer but with cider providing some more interest and structure. Little floralness and mild lemon. Light apple. Dry seltzer finish. Much more drinkable. .

Keg at Mother Kelly’s - London. Pours lightly unclear yellow with a flimsy white head. The nose has some tangy apples, soft gingery notes, lemon. Light sweet flavor with pleasant, zippy lemon-lime tartness and mild apple must. Light bodied with delicate, spritzy carbonation. Lightly sweet on the finish with restrained tartness, some apple skins, green apple. Not bad.

Keg at Mother Kelly’s. It pours hazy pale gold with a small white head. The nose is big apple character, earthy, grainy, barnyard and a touch of spice. The taste is bitter-sweet, apple, sherbet, pear skin, apple juice, mild acidity, touch of mouth-pucker with a dry finish. Lightish body and fine carbonation. Nice balance. Easy going, fruity and refreshing.
