750ml bottle from the brewery. 7.0%. Hazy, dark gold. Film of white head. Bready. Spicy. Light smokiness. Hint of flinty mineral. Taste is mineral dry. Fairly bitter. Full, chewy palate, with plenty of that spiciness. Finish is light dry, and lengthy bitter. Don’t get much in the way of elderflower, possibly it’s drowned out by the chewy yeast? Still a very drinkable saison, that comes across fresh, lively, and natural.

Hazy deep amber beer, small pale cream coloured head. Palate is light and crisp and dry. Mild fine carbonation. LIttle generic floral sweetness. Fresh elderflower on top. Light tangy orange peel. Light finish. Nicely joined up saison with a great touch of fresh elderflower.
