500ml bottle into a UK pint sleeve at home on 1st Jan 2016. Deep ruby hue to the dark brown body, a full but thin head sat on top. Red berries and hedgerow fruits in the nose with a malt base. The taste follows along in the same way, malty, fruity and: a dry feel dominates the palate and a bitterness arrives mid-sip. Decent and flavoursome, enough going on to keep me interested for the whole bottle.

Bottle. Brewtique, Macclesfield. Clear, well brewed tea colour. Thin, sticky, pale tan head. Granary bread malts. Dried dark fruit. Light toastiness. Taste is fruity dry. A gentle bitterness. Palate is fairly smooth. Finishes fruity dry. Hint of nutty bitter. Decent.

NWAF 24 Jan 13. Mørk gyldenbrun. 0 skum. God sviskearoma. Smaken litt syrlig. Malt & litt frukt. Tørr avslutning. Bra - men litt uvariert.

Half pint, cask, shared with Finn at The National Winter Ales Festival. Close to clear mahogany coloured body. Headless. Aroma of half tart berries. Malt-fruity taste joined by berries. Late arriving bitterness. Quite ordinary (Manchester, 24.01.2013).
