8th September 2010. Cask Pub & Kitchen. ’Meet The Brewer’
Served as ’Pint’. Clear light gold beer with a residual head. Light nose of Nelson hops. Light dry palate. Initially this tasted very wheaty - like liquid wheatabix but that soon died down. Odd though! Then became a nice grapey and generic fruit hop beer that went down very easily. Marble do refreshing bitters/goldens very well.

A golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and hops lending it notes of grass and citrus. The body is light.

(Cask at Marble Arch, Manchester, 24 July 2009, labeled "Pint") Golden colour with creamy, white head. Fruity nose with notes of citrus, grass and soapy, floral hops. Fruity taste with citrus, grass and a touch of toffee. Lots of taste considering the fairly low abv. Fairly light body, mainly dry. Fresh, tasty and very drinkable.

Yellow with a small white head. Clean and intense hop aroma with pine and lime, grass and green hops, and a touch of elderflower. Dry and fruity flavour with good hop flavour and a lasting bitter finish with notes of herbs, grass and nettles.

Made an ideal impression at the Boreft Beer Festival as the only sessionable beer in sight, but I had it before that and gave it more or less the same high rating. Golden ale at its best

Cask-conditioned at the Marble Arch, Manchester 10/06/09 as "Pint". Pale gold in colour with a frothy white head. Big aroma of rose petals, gooseberries and citrus hops. Flavours of turkish delight, more gooseberries, orange grass and a long dry finish. Excellent and all the more creditable for being a sub 4% ABV beer.

Cask at the Marble Arch Inn, Manchester 19-01-08 Pours a straw colour with stunning clarity, the hops rush out on the nose and this is a delightful hoppy fruity beer, yet another corker from Marble.
