A nice clean, very balanced pale ale. Very good for the style. Mildly hopped. Co-op sk

tap - Clear, gold pour. It smells of grainy, bready malt. The flavor is of grainy malt and moderately bitter hops. Light to medium bodied. Decent at best.

500ml can from . Pours a slightly hazy golden with a weak white head. Aroma is very malty, grassy, similar to Europeans beer. Taste is pretty similar. Not bad.

This ale poured a medium Amber colour with a quick living, off white, creamy head. Minimal lacing. Scents include cream, vanilla and malt. First swig was a little bit watery but had a beautiful malt flavour. A little hoppy at the beginning but soon turns malty with a nice grassy flavour. Finish is medium bitter with malt lingering.

Tallboy can from LCBO in Ottawa. Clear gold amber pour with minimal white head. Aroma is malty with some woodsy hops. Taste is very malty with some woody pine hops and crisp carbonation. Very bready malt. Not as much hoppiness as the label ("west coast ale") suggests. Not bad. Wouldn't get again.

50cl can, via trade, thanks Asheft.

Can from the LCBO. Clear medium amber with a generous off white head. Nose is fruit and flowers with a generous helping of toffee and a bit of pine. Lightly sweet toffee and honey with a light bitterness and a hint of spice. Medium slick mouth with average carbonation. Well balanced.

Single can from the LCBO. Pours a golden-amber colour with a big creamy warm cap, good retention and some thick foamy lace. Grassy hop nose with some citrus notes. Grainy cereal taste with the hops slowly appearing in the finish, creating some light bitterness and dryness. Again, citrus in the aftertaste. An easy drinking APA, just lacking a little blending in the flavours.
