On tap at SanTan, pours a clear copper amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out bready malt and light hop resins. Flavour brings out lots of toasted caramely bready malt and hop resins. Nice balance and quite robust. Solid.

A reddish amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with light nutty notes, grassy hops, OK. In mouth, a sweet fruity caramel malt with light grassy hops, boring. On tap at Chandler location.

Can. It pours a clear, dark amber body and a dense, off-white head of finger-thick size. The aroma is rather weak, with caramel and a little fruityness. Spent grains too. Caramel, some fruityness and a little touch of bitterness in the flavor. Some nuttyness too. Medium body, quite soft carbonation. Short finish with nuts and caramel. Ok, so it drinks easily, and it doesn’t taste bad either, but it’s a quite boring beer. 130819

Can. Pours with a clear amber-bronze hued body with a small white head that fades. Aromas are malty, grainy, toasty, lightly nutty. Medium fruity esters. Minimal hop. Flavors are estery, raisins, grainy, toasty and nutty. No hop character and bitterness only to balance. Dry malt character, much more toasted than caramelized (which I appreciate). Medium bodied with a dry finish. I’m surprised that I actually somewhat like this amber ale (a style I don’t much care for). Much better than anticipated.
