(Cask at Harp, Covent Garden, London, 17 Apr 2009) Dark amber colour with foamy, beige head. Fruity, malty nose with orange, crystal/caramel malt and dusty hops. Fruity, malty taste with notes of orange, apricots and slightly earthy hops in the finish. Solid malt foundation underneath the fruit and hops. Decent bitter, went down well with the pub’s tasty sausage rolls.

Cask at the Volunteer, Lyme Regis, Dorset, 13-11-06. Fairly standard amber coloured beer that was quite punchy, hoppy, and a pleasant quaffing ale.
