The perfect post - trail pale. A lower ABV pale ale, deliciously brewed using a healthy dose of hops – as well as using fresh, Highland water from our very own spring. Can’t get better than that!

Can picked up at the brewery. It pours lightly hazy orangey - amber with a dissipating off - white head. The aroma is grainy, earthy, rivita, wet grass, slightly herbal and candied lemon. The taste dry, bitter, grassy, lightly herbal, pithy lemon rinse, soapy, soda water, pine, toasty grain and earth with a very drying finish. Lighter end of medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty meh.

On keg at the Black Isle Bar, Inverness. Appearance - amber rather than pale. Fluffy head. Nose - orange and cake. Maybe a bit of stewed apple. Taste - more apple and orange. Bready edge to it. Palate - creamy and light to medium bodied. Overall - decent.
