Bottle 500ml. @ [ Hotel tasting @ Hotel Tulip - Bodegraven ] before 4th Borefts Beer Festival 2012.Clear medium amber orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, nutty, caramel, light to moderate hoppy. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, wood bitter, malty, caramel. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20120929]

Bottle in Fonefan room Borefts 4. Clear amber thin beige head. Some caramel in mouth decent bitterness on finish. Ok bitter.

bottle at de molen ... copper ... small white head ... soft dry toffee nose ... soft peachy fruits ... light toffee malt ok.

cask at brewpub ... golden amber ... thin white head ... soft dry toffee nose ... dry lemon ... soft fruit ... light bitter ... decent enough

Cask: Light amber to amber coloured, smaller stable creamy head, sticking to the glass; delicate hoppy nose with toasty and fruity flavours; light to moderate bitter-flavour, light bodied; lingering fruity and bitter-hoppy finish with a tinge of liquorice. Not earthshaking, but a good session beer.....
