This classic, dry IPA is rich and satisfying, and shows that it’s not just the Americans who can master craft beer.

Cask at CBC during my birthday, London. Pours clear gold with a light white head. Some citrus and grain in the nose. Sweet bread flavor with light citrus, a bit of yeast and hay. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Fairly sweet finish with light and juicy citrus and straw. Very decent.

Keg, font dispense at Veritas Ale & Wine Bar, Leeds 18.03.12 in company of dad & Barry Amber in colour with a white filmy head. Sweet & malty but with a decent backdrop of fresh hops. Enjoyable if a little too sweet at times, there is also a little chewy toffee which isn’t adding much to this. A6 A4 T6 P6 Ov12 3.1
