Bottle from Inoteca Regionale, Alberobello Trulli district. Hazy brown - amber beer, decent cream colour head. Palate is smooth and fairly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Malts are quite light and carry a thin creamy sweetness. Mild spice. Light ripe fruits. Sweet fig. Caramel - cream. Trace of dessert wine. Light dry finish. Tasty enough - really don’t understand all these low scores.

A hazed reddish copper barleywine with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity corn syrup with faint grassy hops, so-so. In mouth, a sweet cloying caramel malt with light candy sugar, light curacao, Belgian on style, light mineral notes, fusel alcohol, solvent notes, so-so. Bottle at VIP Lounge Mondial 2016.

Cloudy amber color; medium sized creamy head. Aroma and flavor are sweetish, candy-like, with some caramel more than malt, moderate sweetness, and some vegetables across it.
More Strong Belgian Ale than Barley Wine.
