375ml bottle that pours a clean, copper-brown colour with amber highlights. The head is warm, light-beige coloured, lasting a little while, leaving some lacing streaks and a coat above the brew. Red wine vinegar aromas with a touch of apples, cherries, oak woodiness and hints of Bourbon. A wet mouthfeel with a puckering sourness, and a slow, lowering finish. Not much tart left on the tongue. Flavours are the same as the nose, all well-balanced. A very, nicely brewed Flanders Red, that goes down well, with the red wine and Bourbon touch.

A dark reddish brown ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light licorice, alcohol warmth, light burned caramel, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity caramel malt with light Brett, light lactic notes, ground cherry, pleasant. Bottle at brewery.

De puissants arômes vineux sur une base maltée et fruitée bien présente. Des notes de vin rouge dominantes, des malts subtilement caramélisés, des cerises noires, des prunes ainsi que de subtiles accents de vanille complètent cet olfactif bien complexe. Brune aux reflets orangés, elle est très floue et se couvre d’une mousse moyennement épaisse qui persiste assez peu. En bouche, c’est encore vineux, acétique, s’accompagnant d’un boisé établi et de quelques phénols de poivre sur une base maltée aux accents légèrement caramélisés. Le fruité est également bien représenté avec ses cerises noires et ses prunes. Le vieillissement en barrique de Bourbon n’y apparait aucunement. Très grande ressemblance avec ses consœurs Belges.
