(Bottle, 17 Sep 2011. Thanks to SaintMatty) Dark brown colour with brief head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of dark bread, treacle, brown sugar, caramel and hints of cellar. Malty, roasted, slightly acidic taste with dark bread, dried fruit, soy sauce and hints of oxidization in a finish with a fruity, sweet touch. More than medium body, with some sweetness. Still quite drinkable.

330ml Bottle (Thanks Omhper) - Dark brown with red tinges. Fruity and spicy aroma with notes of fruit cake and marzipan. Fruity and slightly tart taste with raisins, malt and fruit cake detected. Past its best, but still a good beer.

33 cL bottle, thanks to thewolf. Pours hazy amber to brown and with a lacing off-whie head. Wineousnand overripe fruit. Flavour is thick fruity, slight acidic. Solid caramel malt flavour, dense overripe fruit flavour. Goes into a dry and mild chocolate smooth finish.

Cloudy dark amber. Rich deep fruity, malty aroma. Plums, oranges, soy sauce, mirin and cider in the nose. There’s a lot to absorb here. Very chewy, with rich soy saucy malts. Fairly smooth body. Intensely fruity finish and deceptive strength. A little lactic...turning maybe?

Bottled. Dark brown/copperish colour, almost opaque, beige bubbly, longlasting head. Huge aroma, cinnamon, coffee, alcocol with coffeeish and flowery hints. Lovely flavour of plums, raisins and fruits. Hints of alcohol, but not at all disturbing. Absolutely wonderfull brew! Thanks omhper!

A deep red beer with a disappearing brown head. The aroma is sweet roasted with light notes of chocolate. The flavor is sticky sweet with some notes of vegetables, and with an acidic end. I don’t know what went wrong here - bad bottle? I use to like the style, but this was just not me.

Nut brown, small tanned head. Chocolaty nose. Liquerish, sweetish and chocolaty. A bit flat, otherwise good brew.
