Bottle from De Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Sweetish malt aroma with caramel, stewed fruits, some buttery notes. Flavour is moderate sweet with low bitterness. Body is medium. Rustic take on a Bock, bit too buttery for my taste.

Bottle from Dunklermessias. Many thanks! Clear golden colour, white foam. A bit bready, herbal and sweet malty, light bitter finish. Good Bock.

Dark copper with a creamy, white head. Caramel and port wine aroma. Taste is mildly bitter up front, bitter at the end with a long, herbal finish. Medium-bodied, mild carbonation, smooth. Less sweet and malty than a typical bock, and from feel, more reminiscent of an Altbier. Nice.

0,5 l bottle. Clear dark copper with a staedy and nearly two finger pale beige head. Looks really good. Malty and grassy smell. Taste is malty, toasted with bitter hop. Spicy, bready, less sweet than expected. Good bavarian stuff.

Hetzelsdorfer Bier - Bockbier, 6,5 %, Flasche von Hopfen & Malz im Wedding. - Kupferrotbraun, schwach trüb; sahniger Schaum. - In der Nase warmes, kernig toastiges Malz, Kaffee, Bayrisch Blockmalz und kräftige, lebhaft fruchtig-erdige Hopfung. - Antrunk satt und tief toastig-dunkelmalzig mit Brotkruste und kerniger fränkischer Hopfenherbe, orangenschalenbitter, rund krautig und leicht erdig. Kaum süß. Milder rezent, vollmundig-weich; perfekt kaschierter Alkohol. Im Abgang stattliche krautige Hopfenherbe. - Kerniger, malztiefer und schön bitterer Bock, ein wenig rustikal aber doch rund. Gar kein Vergleich mit dem säuerlichen Bock, den ich 2019 als Hetzelsdorfer Weihnachtsbock getrunken habe. (4.11.2021.)

Bottle @ Bayern. Pours amber with a creamy White head. Malty caramel and bread. Slight dust. Medium bodied. Dried fruit.

500ml Bottle - Brown with orange and red tinges. Raisins, caramel and notes of fruitcake in the aroma. Malty and slightly sweet taste with raisins, sultanas, caramel and hints of nuts and berries.
