Bottle. A clear, dark brown beer with a small, beige head. Dried fruits, lots of caramel, some notes of alcohol, and a hint of something roasted. Balancing bitterness in the flavor, with caramel, some alcohol warmth and dried fruits. Full-bodied, warming and soft. Lasting caramel finish with some dried fruits. A pleasant one indeed, tasteful, complex and well worth a revisit. 120817

a nice doppelbock , not as sickly sweet as ayinger’s celebrator, with a little bit too little aroma and flavor, but very smooth and lightly carbonated.
