Finally a new IPA jam packed with the juiciest Motueka hops we could find. What? Not a thing? Then we misread the room severely because Tidal Surge IPA is saturated with Motueka. A Motueka tour de force one could say.

We’ve heard that a lot of people have a hard time getting along with this hop. But we also know that a lot of people are wrong. Full stop.

Fresh citrus, tropical fruits and a tiny bit of that mojito lime character.

Thanks omhper! Hazy yellow colour, mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is floral, some pineapple and citrus tones with mild oats and some grainy tones too. Flavour is floral, pineapple, mild citrus, lemongrass and mild oaty tones to it.

Canned, from Systembolaget. Hazy golden, rich, firm head. Generous grassy nose with nectarine and pink grapefruit. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Fruitym slightly porridy malt. Grapes, grass and nectarine. Lightly bitter finish.

Tap at Salon Piva 04/2024. Hoppy aroma and taste, tropical and citrus fruit, medium bitter, light sweet. Medium body, hoppy fruity bitter sweet finish. Good.

Tap at Winter Affair '25. Notes are brief. Lots of interesting hops character, gooseberry, elderflower. I love this type of hops aromatics. Otherwise just a really well made NEIPA, thankfully not overly cereal. Very good.

Tap at Winter Affair 2025. Murky yellow body, thick off-white head. Citric, oaty aroma, pungent orange notes, lovely! Citric taste, orange again all over the place, some stone fruit, creamy, ending a bit more dry, but without much bitterness. Fresh and lovely!
