Keg at 4.5% at Duke’s. It pours orange-amber with a small white head. The nose is orange, tangerine, sherbet, earthy, hay and toast. The taste is crisp, floral, orange, grapefruit, minerals and grass with a dry, citric finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Smooth, tasty and rather drinkable.

Tap at Friends of Ham, Leeds. Hazy amber. Frothy, white head. How come all British brewed, low ABV beer isn’t like this? Oh, I know. Because its got some kind of taste to it! I wish my local had beer like this on...

On gravity at the London Drinker beer festival 6/3/2013. Chestnut coloured, with solid sweetish cereal malts, some leafy hops, caramel and a decent, bitter finish. Good.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; first Beavertown brew I’ve tried and it is a quality ale a bit hoppy not to bitter. Would have again.

Bottle at home 27th August 2012. Last of the range, my favourite being the 8 Ball, this is a fairly simple brew, nice taste malts remind me of an amber ale, nice easy drinking, nothing special though.

Bottled@Duke’s, London. Hazy orangeish golden colour, mediumsized white head. Some particles floating around. Aroma is fruity, earthy, mild grassy and sweet malty notes. Flavour is quite similar in a nice balance. Refreshing and pleasant brew.
