Bottle picked up at Westhill Service Station. It pours black with a light tan head. The aroma is big coffee character, roasted malt, cocoa, powdered chocolate, bit of toasted nut, creamy, praline and light Turkish delight. The taste is dry, light bitterness, roasted malt, plenty of coffee, cacao, some dark fruits, praline, bit of peppery spice,. Some creaminess and Mars bar with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Nice balance to it. Works well.

On cask at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - deep brown to black with a lovely fawn head. Nose - coffee and chocolate. Taste - chocolate on top this time but coffee still lurking. Palate - creamy and medium bodied. Gently tapering finish. Overall - good. The coffee isn't too much.

Bottle from Cork & Cask. Dark brown body with a thick beige head. Good lacing. Aroma of charred wood, dark chocolate and charcoal ash. Flavour of Turkish delight and wood. Thin to medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. Slightly sharper than I’d have liked but it’s really nice. I loved the Turkish delight vibe.
