Hoppy Blondje. Une Belgian Bitter qui claque en collab' avec nos amis de St Klet! Avec une amertume tranchante mais parfaitement équilibrée et un corps bien costaud, elle bouscule les codes tout en respectant la tradition. Elle ravira les chasseurs d'amertume et les vieux cons.

Frothy white head, rather stable over fully hazy orange/ochre beer with a mossy sheen. Very fruity & spicy nose, inviting. Fresh lupulin, orangepeel, exotic fruit. Bitterish/fruity. Again orangepeel, again lupulin, faintly peppery. Hints at resin and leather. Very dry, almost tart finish featuring bananapeel and an earthy character. Light to medium bodied; well carbonated. Really dry. Excellent beer, full stop. Yet one remark: it seems we've gone full circle now. From the times of the first "Belgian" "IPA's", here we have a real IPA that refuses to acknowledge itself as such. Txs to Stef!

(Draft at Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Brussels, 17 Sep 2025) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Hoppy, malty nose with notes of citrus, bread and herbal hops. Hoppy, malty taste with bread, citrus, tropical fruit and a balanced citric/herbal bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Crisp and refreshing. Nice one.

Tap at Chez Mon Ex. Almost clear golden with big white head. Sweet malts, floral, tangerine, light soupy, dough, almonds, wheat. Medium sweet, less bitter but in a sharp and lingering way, and light sour. Medium bodied. A bit weird but not bad.

33cl can, BB 06/09/2025 achetée au Delhaize Flagey, Ixelles.
Dorée, col épais crémeux blanc.
Arôme est parfumé, fine douceur florale rappelant un pot-pourri, fruité tropical, fruits rouges - fraises mais pas sur l'effet infecté, baies de genévrier, pomelo/agrumes.
Palais est floral, fince douceur sur un effet lavande - fraise, pointe d'amertume, fini malté simple pils et pointe épicée du seigle pour une bonne rondeur de bouche. Fruits à noyaux en retrait, et assez sèche.

F: no real.
C: gold, hazy.
A: citrus, apples, banana, bready, weak.
T: medium malty base, vaguely fruity, citrus, red apples, bit banana, mineral touch, decent bitterness, nothing really special here, drinkable.
