Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Black dark brown colour, no head and aroma of molasses, roast malt, dark fruits, coffee. Taste is roasted malty, molasses, caramel, chocolate & nut notes, coffee, dark fruity, with earthy bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, full bodied, soft carbonation, drying roasty bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

29/11/2025. Bottle at the ITFC beer share. Courtesy of Jean-Baptiste, cheers! Aroma is drying, coffee, chocolate, roasted malt, treacle. Very nice dry bitter roasted coffee malt taste. Good body. Smooth. Average to soft carbonation. Enjoyable.

Clear dark brown beer, no head at all. Aroma: lots and lots of coffee, more coffee, good roast, lovely. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of coffee, good roast, coffee, caramel, lovely. Aftertaste: a little bitter, a bit oxidized, caramel. Lots of coffee indeed, not getting much rum though.
