Bottled. Dark blond with a thin head. Overwhelming whiskey-peat aroma, smoky, with also light esters, peach, and hospital notes, like band-aids. Not a pleasant nose. Very peaty flavor, estery and roasty as well, much better than the nose. A very interesting example of what can be done with peated malts, but in the end, it tastes rather foul.

Bottle. Pours clear golden, with almost no head at all. The aroma is definitely a love-hate-affair with an extreme smokey peat, tar, whisky and oakey barrels as well as notes of sail ships and sea dogs. Body is full with a creamy texture, with a soft carbonation. The flavour is a bit like sitting right beside a campfire drinking the smokey air. When the smoke fades a bit it’s sweet with caramel malts, grain, bread and some alcohol. Sweet finish with notes of alcohol and ash.
