10cl sample (bottle) at Vulkan ølfestival. Slightly hazy amber with a small off-white head. Sugary aroma with fruits, malt and caramel. Quite sweet and sugary with some fruits and bitterness. Some citrus in the finish too. No quite my cup of tea, but fair enough. (2012-10-03)

Medium beige head. Clear dark amber body with carbonation. Roasty raisiny caramelly aroma with burnt sugar notes. Dry-sweet roasty fruity raisiny caramelly taste with spicy watermelon notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry wooden resiny grape juice aftertaste with wooden orangey notes. Lovely, and very interesting. Very unusual, too. (0.5l bottle, wine monopoly, Vika, Oslo.)

Flaske på Cardinal: skal visstnok være en dubbel, men for bitter. Bitterappelsin kan bare anes. Ineressant, kanskje verdt å prøve på nytt.

Bottle @ Papsø. Fairly clear, reddish orange appearance with an off white head. Weird tangerine fruity, kind of spicy, mango aroma. Quite fruity, rich tangerine, clementine, a little spicy flavor, slightly chewy flavor with decent carbonation.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of Pinball. Pours an almost clear amber with an off-white head. Fruity, yeasty nose - like Belgian yeast?? Medium body, sweet and caramellish, rich in fruit with quite some Belgian fruit. Not sure what this was supposed to be, I’d call it a decent Belgian Ale. 140712

Pour is a hazy brown with a small white head. Aroma is a sweet fruit with some caramel. Flavor is a nice mix of orange peel with a bit caramel malt backbone. After the swallow a nice tart fruit is left on the tounge. This is a decent brown ale mixed with flavorful fruit.
