Tap at CBC May 2012. It pours deep brown, with a small light tan head. The nose is rich coffee, roasted malt, bitter chocolate and a touch of sweet vanilla. The taste is rich espresso, vanilla, dark chocolate, earth, roasted malt, underlying alcohol warmth and some dark fruit, with a bitter-sweet finish. Full body and fine carbonation. Flavoursome and well balanced.
