On tap at CBC2012. Beer in the glass deep black, small head. Heavy-malty aroma. Starts strong-malty, intense notes of coffee, more and more bitter-dry. Finish almost dusty-dry, earthy aftertaste. Nice beer!

Tap at CBC May 2012. It pours deep brown, with a small light tan head. The nose is rich coffee, roasted malt, bitter chocolate and a touch of sweet vanilla. The taste is rich espresso, vanilla, dark chocolate, earth, roasted malt, underlying alcohol warmth and some dark fruit, with a bitter-sweet finish. Full body and fine carbonation. Flavoursome and well balanced.

Draft. A black beer with a lazing dark brown head. The aroma has strong notes of coffee and medium notes of chocolate. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of coffee, combined with medium notes of chocolate and roasted malt, leading to a dry roasted coffee like finish.
