On tap @ Craft Beer Co, London. This is a deep deep dark ruby-brown one, and it has a nice medium sized, dense light khaki head that's leaving some nice lacings down the glass. On the aroma it's hoppy and fruity, but I also get lot's of sweet candy mixed with dark malts, a little bit of chocolate paper and sweet dark almost floral syrup. Interesting, and quite nice! If the aroma was interesting, the taste has to be entreating. It's average carbonated with a mild oily texture. It's near roasted, hoppy, has some chocolate tones blended with dark malts. Also, I get a mild brett-like light sour thing here. Not sure it if's actually meant to be there, but I feel it gives it another dimension. It actually tastes a little wild, almost like junipers! That's it! The alcohol is well hidden, and it feels easy to drink. This was, in lack of better word, quite interesting! 19.07.2012

Tap at Craft Brixton - 28/09/12. Mid black with a good sized tan head that retained well. Looked the part ! Pine nose, hops, fruit and a touch of licqourice. Taste follows nose, dark fruis, roasted malt presence, pine, licquorice, touch of brett/sourness in the finish. Medium bodied with minimal carbonation making for a great mouthfeel.

Keg at Craft Beer Co Brixton. It pours very dark ruby, with a very thick beige head. The nose is dark fruit, cherry, blueberry, blackberry, toast, varnish, Dandelion & Burdock and bitter chocolate. The taste is roasted malt, tangy fruitiness, berry, varnish, ash, earth, cocoa nibs, charcoal and Dandelion & Burdock, with a dry, toasty finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Tasty stuff.

Tap at the Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2012. Pours black brown with a delicate, foamy tan head. Incredibly fresh nose with some grass, yeast and light pine. Great flavor, very dynamic, medium sweet, somewhat spicy with fresh grass, faint roast and light, zesty lemon. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Medium sweet to finish with light dirt, more grass, earth, light pine, some berry fruits or something, light bubblegum and very mild dark chocolate in the aftertaste. An excellent beer this.

100ml, 7.4% abv., tap at CBC, first day. Firm beige head resting over a deep, dark brown body. Red oranges and semi-sweet malts to the nose. Well balanced taste of fresh citrus and dark bitter fruits supported by slightly roasted dark malts. Semi-dry bitter finish. Pleasing (Copenhagen, 11.05.2012).
