Growler from Terra Firma. Pours a dark brown with a medium head and smoky aromas that hit the nose even during the pour. Flavor is smoky with dark chocolate and heat on the finish but the beer is a little thin for my likes. Don’t get me wrong, this is very interesting and good as it is and I might need another growler to take back home when we leave TC.

On tap at the brewery. Pours and spills on notebook with a dark brown to black color and an off-white head. Dark cocoa and certainly chili in the aroma. Dark cocoa also leads the aroma with a light roastiness, moving into smoked chili with a nice moderate chili burn. This is a really good incorporation of chilis into a beer.
