This big, bold, bitter IPA not only shows off a super hop kick but a depth of orange, apricot and tropical fruit flavours that are both refreshing and complex. Crammed full of four aromatic hop varieties, a fantastically tasty beer.

Pours with very little head but I'm not sure if I just got a duff bottle or if that's how it always looks. Clear amber with a rich, malty aroma. Citrus flavour, tropical fruit. Some spices, a touch of pine and then something earthy and unpleasant, perhaps from the malt, that I'm really not keen on at all. Sadly that plays a big part in the aftertaste. I'm not sure if I got a duffer but this really wasn't very good.

Bottle at a tasting. Weirdly characterless in all aspects considering it bears "IPA" in its name. Metallic. Really a fail.

Bottle kindly shared by Milos, many thanks. Orange golden color with medium white head. Oranges, tangerines in aroma. Taste, oranges, tangerines, light zest. Solid malty backbone. Good.

500ml bottle from Scottish Real Ale Shop, Kilmahog. Pours deep golden amber, moderate off-white head. Aroma is marmalade, malts. Taste is soft fruity jammy fruits, soft citrus. Pleasant, easy-drinking IPA.

Bottle, 330 ml from Luvians Bottle Shop, St. Andrews. Pours dark orange to amber, small off-white head. Malty, caramel, toasted, light to medium hop fruitness. Medium bodied. Bitter finish. Not exactly bad, but lacking in various aspects.

Lightly hazy gold beer, tidy off white head. Palate is airy and dry. Modest fine carbonation. Light airy malt, dry. Mellow pithy orange and orange peel. Airy dry finish. Mild bitter linger. Light and pleasant enough.

500ml bottle. Clear amber colour, frothy white foam head leaving lots of lacing and aroma is grainy & yeasty. Taste of malt & grain, spice with some citrus rind & woody pine bitterness. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, dry bitter finish. Quite OK.
