Can. Pours opaque black with a medium creamy tan head that leaves good residual and lacing. Aroma is chocolate covered banana. Flavor is fairly sweet, medium bitter, a bit of an ABV burn. Chocolate and banana, hints of molasses. Fullish body. Burny.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated February 6, 2020. Aroma is dominated by artificial banana notes. If you can get past the banana there are hints of vanilla, roast and chocolate. Light alcohol spice. Pours black, but with some dark brown hues and a medium sized, thick, creamy, light mocha head that exhibits ok retention as it slowly recedes to the edges where it lingers for a bit. Faint lacing and fairly long legs. Flavor is very sweet with lots of chocolate and lighter roast notes with hints of anise, tobacco and ash. Loads of artificial banana and light vanilla. Light alcohol notes and moderate bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium full bodied with medium carbonation. Low, but present astringency and light alcohol spice. Overall, I did not expect to like this beer and I don't. The flavor and aroma are overly dominated by artificial banana notes that really hide everything else. A couple sips was about all I could handle.
