Bottle shared at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Thanks omhper for this bottle! Slightly hazy amber with a frothy white head. Nice strong smoked sausages aroma with peat, cigars and caramel hints. Smoky flavor with some slightly caramelly malt sweetness, burnt wood, peat malt and meaty notes. Finishes drier. Medium-bodied. A decent Smoked.

(Bottle) Amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Fruity, smoky nose with notes of dried fruit, smoked ham, orange peel and a touch of rose-hips. Fruity, smoky taste with citrus, dried apricots, smoked ham and a gentle citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. The smoked character is quite well balanced in the taste, making the beer tasty and very drinkable. Nice one.

Bottle 330ml.Clear medium to dark amber orange colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, meat, smoke, sweet meat. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, smoke, sweet meat smoke, thin. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Amber colour with a tan head. Smoked malty aroma. Malty, smoked and a bit fruity flavour.

Dark amber color; the medium sized head reduces quickly to a small layer. Very nice, subtle, smoke aroma. The mouthfeel is quite dry, there is good caramel flavor and good smoke, with correct bitterness.
A very fine beer, it has strong smoke presence, and great balance; not heavy as the Schlenkerla ones, but it also goes well with food.

Ulfborg Scooper Smagning 2012. Amber with a lasting white head. Aroma of bready malt, and strong smoke with campfire and bacon character. Sweet malty flavour with strong smoke notes and a bit of caramel. While it’s more than sweet enough, it doesn’t quite have the malt body to handle the smoke.
