Bottled@my birthdaybash@Chriso. Goldeny amber colour, minor head. Aroma is fruity, wooden, mildly floral and herbal with some slight nutty notes as well. Flavour is rather ssimilar with mild toasted maltyness and the wooden notes are also a bit stronger.

Bottle at Pat’s birthday tasting at chriso’s. Clear gold pour with a faint head. Sweet malts in the nose and flavor, faint grains, some leaves. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Bland finish, light sugars. Not great.

Bottle that I picked up in a mixed case of beers from Beers of Europe, consumed 18-02-09 Poured light amber with good clarity and a small white head. Aroma was touch fruity some malts but little sweeteness present. Flavour was fruity, nice bitterness, elements of Liptons Iced Tea came through. A really decent session bitter and yet another very decent effort from Wagtail. A7 A4 F7 P4 OV16
