Clear dark brown to black beer, creamy dense head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: soy sauce, roasted, charcoal, dried fruits, caramel, some chocolate. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: slick and oily, very roasted, soy sauce, bitter, hoppy touch, chocolate, bit sourish, more alcohol. Aftertaste: more roasted notes, some banana, little bitter, alcoholic, roasted, soy sauce, a bit acidic, chocolate, coffee, bitter finish.

(641 napja palackozták) Közepes, örökké tartó barna hab, fekete szín. Csokis, kakaós, kávés illatok, komoly aszalt gyümölcsös és némi fűszeres beütéssel. Kissé édeskés, csokis, kávés, kakaóporos, aszalt szilvás, aszalt cseresznyés ízvilág, némi fűszeres és talán áfonyás aromákkal. Testes, enyhén szénsavas, közepesen keserű. Isteni sör.

Bottle from Corti Bros. Pours dark brn/blk with a tan head. Aroma of chocolate and very dark toffee. Full bodied. Flavor is very dark treacle, coffee, dark, dark chocolate. And something like dates. Dates coated in dark chocolate. Gets some definite anise in the finish.

Pours black into a snifter. Mocha head with good retention recedes to hug rim. Soy and chocolate aromas. Sweet licorice and soy upfront turning to chocolate before the dry, lasting pit fruit finish.

Bottle - thick black pour - nose of bittersweet chocolate, tobacco, smoke, espresso - super creamy texture and well-masked alcohol - light smoke, medium sweet chocolate, blueberry, light umami on the tail end - tasty.

Bottle. Pours opaque black, medium creamy brown head, dissipates slowly, nice lacing. Aroma is roasty, burnt, anise, molasses, dark chocolate, ashtray, leather. Flavor is light sweet, medium plus bitter, leather, molasses. Full body, creamy mouthfeel.

31-12-17 // bottle shared. Pitch black, beige creamy head. Nose of roasted malts. Aroma of bitter chocolate, coffee, dry roasted malts. Great.

12oz btl pours a muddy black with swirling tan head. Nose is extremely vinous, winey, heavy oak and toast, marzipan, malt. Flavor is more straight up, malt, brown sugar, toast, burnt wood, burnt sugar, dark chocolate. Full bodied and also dry.
