Bottle @ home. Dark brown color with a dark red glare coming through when held into the light, full sized, creamy, tan head that lasts for quite a long time. Aroma is malts, lightly roast, hops, perfectly balanced. Taste malts, roasted malts, a nearly perfect mix between roasted malts and hops. I don’t get any of the sourness nor chocolate that some of the users apparently tasted. Average to decent body, medium carbonation. Top notch black IPA if you ask me!

Big creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly neutral, dark malts, hops, wet leafs, grass, caramel, rubber, thinner. Taste is harsh sour-ish, dark malts, old hops, cardboard, harsh grass, wet leafs, rubber, burnt caramel. Medium bitterness, dry mouthfeel. Old bottle that has passed it’s pride.

Dark brown color, with creamy beige creamy head. Very nice hop aroma, fruity, overwhelming any kind of roasted malt; there is also some yeast. Smooth mouthfeel; chocolate flavor with roasted malt; strong bitterness, with just a dash of yeast and fruits, and infinitesimal liquorice.
Excellent example for the style.

33cl bottle from Westholme Stores. Pours a pleasant looking deep ruby brown colour with a thin beige head; lots of mango fruit aroma; soft and fruity to start with some underlying pine resin and well-burnt toast; the finish is long and hoppy (of course) without being too aggresive, making this an approachable, easy-drinking beer.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of anders37. Pours a cloudy dark brown with an off-white head. Intense aroma hops overpower the roast - at least in the nose. Medium body, some subtle sweet roast in complete harmony with the citrusy hops. Some raisin. Dry if not overly bitter finish. Very enjoyable. 030312
