Bottle. Burning Sky online. Soft haze on a pale amber. Fine ring of white. Nose has apple pomace. New leather. Oak. Cheshire cheese thing going on. Or maybe cheese wrapped in nettle leaf. One of them. Cider apple lolly. Taste is a little tart and dry. Touch of vinegar. Light to medium body. Fine carbonation. Pretty drying. Tart and lightly acidic bitterness to finish. Easily my least favourite of the lot, which is surprising.

Bottle at home. It pours golden with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is funky, hay, green apple skin, musty, bright, zingy, some vanilla, apple pie crust, plum, sponge cake, light spice and wood. The taste is firmly dry, tart, puckering, rather fruity, oily, juicy, tangy, plenty of apple, sour green chewits, pear, zingy lemon, sherbert, some acidity, sour candy, wood and just a touch of tannin with a dry, appley finish. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Pretty damn delicious. Lovely mix of funky beer and apple/cider vibes. Bright and fruity.

Keg at the Kernel taproom during the Four Friends event - London. Pours mostly clear gold with a creamy, white head. Gorgeous blend, moderately acidic, with notes of lemon, some lactic twang, mellow vinegar, salt, a faint metallic note. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Quenching finish, salty, with sturdy acidity. Very nice.
