500 ml bottle. Clear amber body with a big, creamy off-white head. Delicious aroma dominated by hops flavors like citric fruit, grapefruit and pine, some caramel malt as well. Flavor is sweet malt, some caramel malt, fruity and quite bitter. Even if the malt is in the background here, it feels like a good balanced beer with lots of fruit and nice bitterness. Medium body and decent aftertaste dominated by fruity bitterness. Not very complex, but well made.

(tap 0,4l @ OP(Brno)) Dried fruits, raisins, sweet aroma. Huge dark amber color. Medium light brown head. Very sweet, fruity taste. Medium-full body. Sticky texture. Light alcohol warm, dry finish. Good strong amber ale, but not much IPA.

0.5l bottle. This is a clear deep bronze-red one with a nice medium sized beige top that sticks around for a while. The nose is really caramel-hoppy and sticky with lots of light pungent hops. Dominating yes, but it's also fruity with peaches and sweet berries and it has traces of licorice. Interesting aroma. Spot on average carbonated and the mouthfeel is light medium-bodied. Nice flavors. It's hoppy yet quite caramel sweet. Some wet rocks in here with traces of pine and English cake. Really light drinkable, with high quenching qualities. Balanced with a lingering malty and hoppy-caramel aftertaste. I really enjoyed drinking this. 7% ABV? Did not notice that at all.. *edit 8 minutes later: OK you can definitely notice that there is some alcohol in the bottle after all.. 29.01.2013

Palate: Medium body. A bit sweet, light fruity and some bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: A dominating caramel malty picture. Light fruity and light spicy. Low hoppy profile.
Overall impression: Nice ale, but not very typical for its style. Fresh and easy drinkable.

Dark color, amber-brown, with medium sized compact head. Medium aroma of caramelized malts and hops. Caramel flavor with some roasted malts and a light dusty character; quite strong bitterness, with mild hop resins.
Overall it’s well balanced.

Bottle: Poured a reddish brown color ale with a large foamy head with pretty good retention and some lacing. Aroma of rough grain notes with fruity ester and light earthy hops notes. Taste is a mix dominated by rough and slightly unrefined grain notes with some fruity bester with very light herbal and earthy hops notes with almost no bitterness and some light residual sugar. Body is about average with good carbonation. A bit short of hops in this one and malt bill is a bit rough to save the day.

500ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Vika. Firm beige head, spotty lacing. Dark apricot coloured body. Rather restrained aroma of earthy malts and dark fruits. Packed with red oranges developing into a marmalade taste profile that includes hints of chocolate sweetness. Dark fruit bitter ending. Well balanced and tasty (hotel room, Oslo 15.09.2012).
