Bottle. Hazy, deep orange. Messy, sticky, white head. Looks good. Aroma of orange marmalade. Woody, spicy hop. Nice hint of vanilla. Behind all that is the tangy funkiness, that has been apparent in Five Towns beers of late. Taste is full, tangy, zesty bitter. Full, zesty, oily mouthfeel. Finish is zesty, tangy bitter. I’m ignoring the fact that this beer isn’t quite right, and am enjoying it hugely!

Leeds Beer Festival 2016. Golden in colour. Its strength is evident in its nose and through its stated sweetness, as well as in its lingering aftertaste, which seems to be all alcohol in n the breath. In between there is a fruitiness in its taste.
