Draught @ 2015 Red Eye Cider Festival, The Salopian Bar, Shrewsbury. Pours hazy gold and a big hefty spiced aroma. Taste is full-on mulled territory with cinnamon, cumin, nutmeg, cloves, liquorice and dark hedgerow fruits all fighting for your tastebuds. I guess for the style it doesn’t skip on flavour, but I can’t say it’s for me.

Bottle 750ml. clear glass @ [ Fastelavn Smagning - Carnival Tasting - Ulfborg ].Hazy medium yellow orange colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate apple, moderate to heavy cinnamon, spices - almost gløgg or Glühwein. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, spicy, apples. To spicy and gløgg - Glühwein allike for me. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20120218]

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of Ungstrup. Served hot. Pours a hazy golden with no head. Sweet apple aroma with a little cinnamon. Medium body, close to flat, sweet apples that leave some tannins, again the cinnamon is the most distinct of the spices - perhaps I pick up a little clove ale. Some warming alcohol. Very pleasant. 290212

warm at ungstrups, shared by ungstrup. spicy apple pie and apple aroma. apple and vanilla. unclear yellow , no head. flavor is spicy apple,quite sweet, quite nice hot drink indeed

Bottled - drunk 72 degrees C. A hazy golden cider. The aroma has notes of apples and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of over ripe apples and spices - ginger, nutmeg, and cinnamon, leading to dry spicy finish.

Bottle, 5.5% - drunk chilled. Cloudy yellow colour. Apple core aroma. The flavour is spicy and sweet and also astringent. Good combination of spices, and I am sure a lot better than gløgg or Glühwein heated.

75 cL bottle. Pours cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is sweet and light honey like. Spiced of cinnamon, cloves and ginger, light nutmeg. Sweet and lingering spiced finish.6-3-6-3-12
75 cL bottle, heated to 73 C, served at ~65 C - I was too slow sipping it Jens said... . Pours hazy orange with no head. Aroma is spiced and crisp apple fruity, dry phenolic and quite fruity. Cinnamon, sweet, apples, light raisin note and smooth spiced. Crisp apples and smooth spiced finish.6-3-7-3-13

Bottle, 75cl. It pours unclear, pinkish golden and with some bubbles on top. The aroma has a nice blend of cardamom, other spices and sweet apples. Rather sugary in the mouth, with cardamom spicyness and apples. Medium body, surprisingly warming to be 5.5%. Spiced, sweet, apple finish. A nice surprise, would be interesting to taste it heated too. 120218

Bottle. Hazy dark yellow with tiny white head. Aroma is apples, cinnamon and spices. Flavour is apples, dry, cinnamon, citrus, little acid, medium sweet, little sugar and spices.
