2023 version , last bottle at the loom.
Tart and sour aroma with roasted malty notes, smoked notes
Flavor is bourbon and tartness from the wood, if you like a strong black tart ba imp stout this one is not bad . Quite co.plex

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is roasted malt, huge Bourbon, oak, cocoa, vanilla, caramel, chocolate, alcohol, dried fruits, touch of marzipan and fudge. Flavour is quite sweet with some light bitter notes in the finish. Plenty of boozy Bourbon. Body is full. Fairly complex with tons (barrels) of Bourbon. Very good, heavy Bourbon...

2023 version drank December 2024. Black with a medium, dark tan head. Tons of sweet malt, chocolate, oak, nuts, red berries and molasses in the nose. Unique. Full, slick body. Flavor loses some of the uniqueness but retains intrigue. Chocolate, some burnt malt, oak, whiskey, nutty, dried fruit. Finish is somewhat sweet without being cloying. A fun brew.

330ml bottle. Smooth, heavy with roastiness, licorice, bourbon, oak, prunes, cocoa, dark chocolate and plums, hints of vanilla and coffee. Pretty good, but a bit heavy.
