Bottle from the Kernel Brewery. It pours cloudy orange-amber, with a thick yellow-white head. The nose is pine and all about the fruit salad - juicy orange, tangerine, kiwi and passion fruit. The taste is orange, tangerine, passion fruit, pine, brown bread, earth, spice and resin, with a dry finish. I much prefer this to the Amarillo Kohatu amber they did a while back.

Bottle at home in London with Lyoli. Pours lightly cloudy amber with a foamy, off-white head. Nutty aroma with toasted malts and, perhaps, light pine. Light sweet flavor, predominant toast, some grass, bit of minerals, toasty bread, faint hazelnut. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Fairly dry finish, some toasty sugar and malt, mild pine and wood. Very enjoyable beer overall. Very nice nuance for a sub-5% beer.

Bottle at the Brewery. Hazy amber beer, tidy off white head. Smooth crisp palate, semi dry. Nice palate! Mild malt base with a little caramel. Lovely fresh hops with a surprisingly Sorachi Ace thing going on - a little lemon cream and some floralness. Semi dry finish with some bitter linger. Great amber!
