Bottle picked up at Westhill SS. It pours hazy reddish - brown with a hick, foamy beige head. The aroma is juicy, tangy, bright pink grapefruit, warming spice, oily, brown bread, piney resins and toasted brown sugar. The taste is dry, pretty bitter, bright piney sting, resinous, peppery, spicy, zesty grapefruit action, bit of alcohol kick and varnish with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Good kick of bitterness. Works well IMO. Moreish. Reminds of something BrewDog would have done back in the day.

Hazy amber beer, big thick white head.Bittersweet hop aroma. Flavour is tropical fruit, hop, rye. Not a lot else to it than that but it's balanced nicely, has a good lingering bitterness and a decent, distinct flavour.

Bottle from Great Grog. Murky amber body with a thin off-white head. No visible carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of vine tomatoes, toffee and caramel. Flavour of grapefruit, pine and melon rind. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. A well judged Rye IPA.
