Keg at Brewdog, Sheffield, Saturday 7th November 2015. Good clarity, light amber/dark gold in colour. A touch of sweet rhubarb it tastes a little like the boiled sweet version of rhubarb like a rhubarb and custard sweet. So whilst it has a lot more flavour than the recently tried rhubarb saison by Thornbridge, having more flavour isn’t always a great thing particularly if that flavour is a tad artificial, that said I think that I preferred this to the Thornbridge beer, just! Keg at BD CJ. It pours clear deep amber with a small - medium white head. The nose is sweet, juicy, fresh, earthy, spice, rhubarb and strawberry jam. The taste is crisp, quite bitter, some fruity tartness, spice, rhubarb, un-ripe strawberry, warming alcohol, lemon zest, mild astringency and soda water with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Perhaps a touch too bitter on the finish. Good fun anyways.

Keg at brewdog Edinburgh. Pours clear golden amber, nose is floral, toffee, light Rhubarb, taste is sweet, rhubarb, dry, quite bitter for a saison.
